Obituary of Barbara Ann Williams

Barbara Ann Williams passed away peacefully on the evening of August 8, 2019. She spent the day, her 99th birthday, with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren who loved her dearly.
Barbara was born on August 8, 1920 in Medford, MA to Charles Ira and Mary Alice Withington. After both of her parents passed away when she was a young child, Barbara was raised by her Aunt Dagmar in Boston. Being married to a Navy husband, Barbara traveled and lived in many places in the United States and abroad including California, Florida, Virginia, Massachusetts, Guam, Japan and Newfoundland. Barbara has lived in the Portland, Oregon area since 1967 and has been active with her church, Clackamas United Church of Christ, serving as a deacon and participating in Ladies Aid. She enjoyed dancing, showing boxer dogs, oil painting, crafting, bowling, spending time with family and friends, and an occasional trip to the casino. She had a kind, generous and loving heart towards people and animals.
Barbara was dearly loved and will be missed by her three children, Lorina (Loren) Johnson, Theda Williams, and Wes (Sylvia) Williams; her four grandchildren, Beth (Jonathan) Porter, Jessica (Dan) Gonzales, Mat (Kelly) Williams, and Otis (Joni) Kimzey; and her three great grandchildren, Morgan Kimzey, Weston Gonzales and Weylyn Williams.
A memorial service will be held at the Clackamas United Church of Christ on Saturday, on August 24 at 11:00.
