Lee E. Cross

July 4, 1942 - April 26, 2019

Lee passed away peacefully surrounded by his beloved family at the age of 76.

Lee was born in Pueblo, CO to Roy and Nadine Cross.  As a child he moved with his family to Milwaukie, OR.  He graduated from Clackamas High School where he met and married the love of his life, Deanna Hopman, in 1962.  He retired from ODOT in 1999 after thirty years of keeping the roads free of snow and ice from Boring to Government Camp.

Lee was known for his devotion to his family, his kindness to friends, his love of the outdoors and his incredible talent as an artist.  His paintings adorn the walls of many who knew him.

He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Deanna; their two children, Rhonda and Matthew; son-in-law, Larry; his grandchildren Molly, Bailey and Fox; his great-granddaughter, Cora; and his sister, Wanda.

In respect for his wishes, there will not be a service.  He will be privately buried at Gethsemane Catholic Cemetery in Happy Valley, OR.
